Welcome guides, maps, event and promotional designs

National Trust is a renowned national heritage organisation in the UK, dedicated to the preservation of historic buildings, land and places of interest.

National Trust have engaged with me over the years requesting the design of different visitor information support, promotional items for various events and illustrated map designs showing property layouts.

Brief:
On this occasion, National Trust requested I design a visitor welcome guide for one of their Welsh properties, Erddig Hall and Gardens, in Wrexham.

As well as a map and walking guide of Erddig and it’s grounds, the visitor guide design encompassed the family history of days gone by – how the family lived, family relationships with staff at Erddig, as well as the family’s warmth in welcoming locals to Erddig house and gardens for all to explore and enjoy.

National Trust have their set brand guidelines which are adhered to, whilst adding my own creative touches to each project.

Brochure design

Brochure design

Chester based independent financial advisers Yates & Co. decided to give their current brochure a refreshed appearance, helping towards their goal of appealing to a wider audience.

Brief:
Yates and Co requested a brochure design that would appeal to a broader market, attracting a younger audience, whilst retaining the assurance of their professional services to existing and returning clients. They wanted to display a printed version in-house to hand out at client meetings, as well as a downloadable digital brochure.

I created a brochure design using clear messaging, graphics and complementary images using the ‘Talk to us first’ theme I had created for Yates & Co. A major part of their professional work is advice based, involving talking and listening to client requirements before guiding them towards the best financial advice. Yates & Co provided written content for each of their services, which I revised and adapted to read fluidly in layman’s terms.

A printed brochure was produced along with a digital pdf brochure to email and download.
